The project module involved dividing a class C network into smaller subnets and configuring two Loopback interfaces on a SOHO router to simulate two LAN segments.
Throughout the project, I gained a better understanding of subnetting and how to effectively create smaller blocks of IP addresses for different segments of a network. I also learned how to configure Loopback interfaces on a router and assign IP addresses to them.
One of the technical challenges faced during the project was ensuring that the subnetting was done correctly to avoid any conflicts with IP addresses. Additionally, configuring the Loopback interfaces required me to understand the nuances of router configuration and IP addressing.
In conclusion, this project module helped me enhance my networking skills, particularly in the areas of subnetting and router configuration. These skills are valuable in the field of network administration and can be applied to real-world networking scenarios. Overall, I believe the project was a valuable learning experience that has prepared me for a career in the networking field.
In this presentation, I will start with a class C network and divide its block of IP addresses into smaller blocks (i.e., subnets). Next, I will configure two Loopback interfaces on the SOHO Router, by using IP addresses of newly created subnets, to simulate two LAN segments Summarize the project module, highlighting conclusions, technical challenges faced, and career skills gained.
