In the winter when you turn on the heater how will the relative humidity in the air be? How can you keep your home comfortable in the winter?

I think the answer is the Relative humidity will be low and by adding mositure using a humidifier will help. Is this correct?

That's correct. I think it will be difficult in practice to get the relative humidity to high enough levels in the winter without getting problems like moisture condensing on the cold windows. This moisture can get into wood and cause it to rot.
