In the rhombus, m<1=18x m<2=x+y m<3=30z

Find the value of the variables X,Y, and Z. {angle 1 is on bottom right, angle 2 is on bottom left, on the upper half is angle three on the left. the figure is shaped like a wide diamond}

Thank You ^0^ It means alot!

One answer:

x = 5
y = 85
z = 3

There are also many other answers, but not with all three variables as integers.

All we really know is that
x < 10
y < 175
z < 6

18x = 30z
18x + x+y = 180
Thank you (:

Okay in all honesty, this made no sense, but I got the same answer in a different way.
We know that the diagonals of a rhombus always intersect at 90 degrees right? So that means that...

Angle 1 is
18x=90
Simplify that and get your answer for variable x
x = 5

For Angle 2, substitute the x in x + y, with the answer you got from Angle 1. (5) + y = 90
So simplify this and then you get y.
y = 85

For Angle 3, there are two ways it could go;
It could be going as 18x = 30z
We know what x is, so we substitute that:
18(5) = 30z
Simplify and...
3 = z
Flip...
z = 3

as for the second version, its easier really, but you can do either one
30z = 90
Simplify and...
z = 3

And thats it! I've known Steve to be correct most of the time, but they don't explain too much (Sorry Steve). I used what I knew, so I can't guarantee that the teachers with accept it, but its all I can do to help. I still got the same answers as Steve though -3-
still don't understand, what's the answer?
im coming back and giving all the answer bruh
1. Classify the figure in as many ways as possible
- A. rectangle; square; quadrilateral; parallelogram; rhombus
2. Which statement is true?
- C. All rectangles are quadrilaterals.
3. Lucinda wants to build a square sandbox, but she has no way of measuring angles. Which of the following explains how she can make sure the sandbox is square by measuring only length.
- B. Arrange four equal-length sides, so the diagonals are equal lengths also.
4. J and M are base angles of isosceles trapezoid JKLM. If mJ=20x+9 and mM=14x+15, find mK.
- A. 151 degrees
5. In the Rhombus m1=18x, m2=x+ y, and m3=30z. Find the value of x+y+z. The diagram is not drawn to scale
- A. 93
6. In the rectangle KLMN, KM=6x+16, and LN=49. Find the value of x.
- D. 5.5
7. Find the value of a. The diagram is not to scale.
- B. 144 degrees
8. LM is the mid segment of trapezoid ABCD. If AB=46 and DC=125, what is LM?
- D. 85.5
9. Use Amy, she got it
- In the rhombus all the 4 sides are equal.
ABC is congruent to CDA because..
AD=BC
DC=AB
AC=AC
therefore all three side from each triangle are the same and they are congruent according to SSS
sdjf was right for multiple choice but I haven't gotten my essay back yet
