In the meantime I got the last one but this one I can't figure...

Divide. [(x^2-9)/(x-5)]/(x+3)
• (x-3)/(x-5)
• (x-5)/(x-3)
• [(x+3)/(x-3)]/(x-5)
• (x+3)/(x-5)
How?

2 answers

x^2-9 - (x+3)(x-3)
so, cancelling the x+3 factors, you have

(x-3)/(x-5)
Thanks so much
