One of my favorite animals is the Arctic fox. Over time, its thick fur has adapted to provide insulation in extreme cold, while its white coat offers camouflage against the snow. The fox has also developed a compact body shape to retain heat and bushy tails for balance and protection from blizzards. In the future, as climate change alters its habitat and diminishes sea ice, the Arctic fox may need to adapt by changing its diet to include more scavenging or by developing altered fur color patterns to blend in with a changing landscape. Additionally, it may migrate further north to seek suitable habitats as temperatures rise.
