In Deuteronomy chapter 27, God gave commands and laws to the Israelites after they escaped from Egypt. Even though they lived a long time ago, they faced challenges similar to ours, like making choices and following rules. It’s hard to say if they were better or worse than us because they lived in a different time with different struggles. What matters is that we can learn from their experiences and try to be good people today!
