in an experiment, 24g of magnesium metal reacts with 73g of hydrogen chloride solution to produce hydrogen gas and 95g of magnesium chloride. Write the word, skeletal and balance eqautions

I've ignored the numbers since they seem to be in stoichiometric quantities and no excess of either reagent is left.

magnesium metal plus hydrochloric acid yields magnesium chloride + hydrogen.

Mg + HCl ==> MgCl2 + H2

Mg + 2HCl ==> MgCl2 + H2

Mg + 2HCl ==> H2 + MgCl2
