Some of the cons were they didn't focus much on education or religion because they were trying to build homes and provide the necessary items needed to sustain life.They didn't really really have a strong government as well.The pros were in 1736, improved laws prohibited the marketing and the use of rum.Another benefit is they made slavery forbidden.
