You can set up a ratio:
5/7 = x/105
Cross multiply and simplify if needed.
in a bag of coloured cubes, the ratio of red cubes to total number of cubes is 5:7. If there are 105 cubes in the bag, how many cubes are red? i don't get this :|

does anyone know the answer for this?
i mean help me with this?? :P
A bag contains 4 red, 4 blue, and 3 green cubes. Cubes are drawn twice with replacement. Find each probability.
P(both red)
P(both red)
The first cube drawn has a 4/11 chance of being red. Since the cube is replaced, the second cube drawn also has a 4/11 chance of being red. Therefore, the probability of drawing two red cubes is:
P(both red) = (4/11) x (4/11) = 16/121 or about 0.1322 (rounded to four decimal places).
P(both red) = (4/11) x (4/11) = 16/121 or about 0.1322 (rounded to four decimal places).
