In 1-2 sentences, what do you think a theme for your novel is? Using text evidence, explain why you chose that as the theme for your novel

3 answers

The theme of my novel is the importance of resilience in the face of adversity. I chose this as the theme because throughout the story, the main character faces numerous challenges and setbacks, but continuously perseveres and refuses to give up. This is exemplified in a passage where she reflects on her struggles, stating, "I may have been knocked down, but I refuse to stay down. I will keep fighting, no matter what."
