I'm writing a short answer, & i don't know if this quote goes with my explanation, the quote is,"three powerful nation, joined themselves together in the threat that if the U.S. blocked the expansion they would unite in ultimate action against the U.S." my explanation is: this text states that if the U.S tries to block them, then the nation's would come together to form a battle. Does that explanation makes sense???

This quote is from President Franklin Roosvelt's Arsenal of Democracy speech on December 29, 1940.

Your explanation is adequate, but I hope you realize that these three nations, Japan, Germany, and Italy, threatened to go to war against us if we tried tried to stop their conquest of other countries.
