im trying to find the speed of a tyrannosaurus rex by alexanders froude number.
sp= (square root of)leg length x gravity/ froude number
sp=(square root of) 3.5 x 9.8 / 11
i get 1.76
but a t rex cant run/ walk at 1.76 m/s or km/h nothing fits

Is "sp" supposed to be the speed?
I get 0.53 m/s for "sp" using your formula.
That seems like a reasonable speed to me. Humans can walk much faster. (1 to 2 m/s)
Why is the Froude number 11? Did some guy named Alexander come up woth that?
