i'm not very good at math whats an easy way to learn rise over run and slope, i'm an 8th grader i really need help.

To find the slope, you do (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). For example: (3 - 1)/(4 - 1) is simplified to 1/3 (slope). We can calculate slope by going on a little journey from point one to point two. From the first point, walk north (up) until you are right next to the second point. Then walk to the east (right). Count your steps.
