I have to write and solve equation that tells me the number of minutes for which the cost of both phone companies is equal.

Phone company. Charges
Comp.A. 36cents plus 3 cnts per min.

Comp.B 6cents per minute

A= 0.03m+ 0.36
B= 0.06

B should be B = .06m

so you want them equal.
.06m = .03m + .36

solve for m
