I'm doing a 3000-4000 word essay on the book A clockwork Orange. Here's my topic:
An Analysis of the "evil" character Alex
Is this topic too broad? Should I narrow it down? Or is it just crap and I should come up with another one? Thanks for the help.
First define "evil" as applied to that character specifically.
Then, give the "history" of evil in his nature....what is its source, is it learned or part of his "nature"..etc.
Then show how this evil changed lives, his and others.
Was there a "lesson" that Alex taught? What was the outcome of that evil...
THEN last, what was the author trying to do using Alex in this book.
I think it would be a very interesting topic.
