I'm actually curious about this-
What does Jiskha mean or stand for?

Our website owner/webmaster when he was in Middle School, had a dog named Jiskha, so he started the website then and called it "jiskha". Jiskha is a term for "good girl" in an Peruvian Indian language in South America. If you click on the Connect Us link button on the bottom of the page, you can ask him directly: He is not in middle school anymore.
