If x + y + z = 26, find the value of (y-2) + (z+3) + (x-3). I was so confused on this question and didn't even know where to start. Please help me!

get rid of the parentheses and rearrange things a bit:

(y-2) + (z+3) + (x-3)
y-2+z+3+x-3
x+y+z-2+3-3
But, you know that x+y+z = 26, so that gives you
26-2+3-3
24
Thank you so much! That really helped!
