If(x)=4*absolute value of x-7 what is f(x+1)I have tried many ways and do not understand what to do with the x+1.
1 answer
f(x) = 4|x-7|
To get f(x+1), just replace every x with x+1:
f(x+1) = 4|(x+1)-7| = 4|x-6|
