Substitute 2x+1 into equation 1 for y and solvee for x.
huh??
x-3(2x+1)=?
since y=2x+1
x-3y=8 and y=2x+1, then x= ???
x-3(2x+1)=??

you have to solve it by multiplying the 3 over and then just adding the x's and the #'s without the x's

Nobody's going to give you all the answers.
im not asking for da answer I juss don't know how to do it.... im confused....

so i multiply the 3&1 ( right??)
then i add the #'s with x's... 1x + 2x which is 3x^2.... see i don't know wat im doing.... becasue the multiply choices are single digits or fractions....
well
x-3(2x+1)=

multiply the -3 and the 2x+1
then add
thank u..... & sorry if i was rude... i was just confused...
if x-3y=8 and y=2x+1, then x=
