If there is 1/6 of a cake and Mitchell only wants 3/12 of it, how much of the cake does he want

12 answers

(1/6) * (3/12) = 3/72 = 1/24
I am not sure why you multiplied. Can you explain that. Thank you
The word "of" means multiply.

Please give me a quarter of a dollar.

1/4 * 1 = 1/4

He read half of the 300 pages.

1/2 * 300 = 300/2 = 150
Thank you
You're welcome.

Ms.Sue lowkey just exposed herself in a way. The reason I say this is because she always ridicules us, on how to get the answer but in this one, she tells us the answer herself.

But regardless of that good job Ms.Sue.
Thank you as well.
@woah. you are aware she died right? Mrs sue died
everyone is saying she died, but how tho? how did you find out?
