If one mole of the compound Al4C3 has a mass of 144g and one mole of carbon has a mass of 12g, calculate the relative atomic mass of the element aluminium.
4 Al + 3 C=144
C=12
4 Al + 3 *12=144
solve for Al
So C=36 which leaves 108 divided by 4 - so 1 mole of Al = 52 ---- is this correct?
If you get 52 from 108/4, you need a new calculator.
is the answer 27 by any chance
yes, 108/4 = 27
