If anything times 0 is 0, then is infinity*0... 0??

not always.
Wdym with not always?
one infinity is involved, you need to know something about limits. Infinity is not a number; it has to get special treatment
For example, if x→∞, x-7 →∞. So, 1/(x-7) → 0
Thus,
(2x+3)/(x-7) →∞/∞
(2x+3) * 1/(x-7) → ∞*0 = 2
