I thought that one million billion would be represented as (10^6)^9 in which case it would be 10^54 but the handy-dandy calculator begs to differ. The output is the same for 1,000,000*1,000,000,000 and 10^15.
I can't explain to save my life, so wait around for bobpursely to pop in with a contrived explanation.
If a million is 10 to power 6
and a
Billion is 10 to the power 9
what is one million billion in powers to 10
is it 10 to the power 54
the powers multiplied or
do you just add the powers ??
which would the give you
10 to the power 15
Any one ??
