If a unit vector in the x or east direction is i, the y direction or north is j, and the z direction or up
is k, then:
momentum vector=12,000 i + 0 j + 0 k
magnitude = sqrt (12,000^2+0^2+0^2)
=12,000 kg m/s
is k, then:
momentum vector=12,000 i + 0 j + 0 k
magnitude = sqrt (12,000^2+0^2+0^2)
=12,000 kg m/s
