(1/2) n = 12
so
n = 24
and
(1/3) n = 24/3 = 8
If 1/2 of a given number is 12, What is 1/3 of the given number?

Just plug and chug :)
Thank you Demon now I understand the concept what you did to get the answer.
Iam I correct on this Demon (1/5)n =20
So (1/5)n=100
and (1/4)n=100/4 =25
So (1/5)n=100
and (1/4)n=100/4 =25
If 2/3 of a given number is 40, what is 2/5 of the given number?
SO if (2/5)n=200
so
n=200
(2/5)n=200/5= 40 or is it 17?
SO if (2/5)n=200
so
n=200
(2/5)n=200/5= 40 or is it 17?
(2/3) n = 40
2 n = 120
n = 60
then
(2/5) (60)
= 120 / 5
= 24
2 n = 120
n = 60
then
(2/5) (60)
= 120 / 5
= 24
Iam I correct on this Demon (1/5)n =20
So (1/5)n=100
and (1/4)n=100/4 =25
====================================
(1/5) n = 20
multiply both sides by 5
1 n = 100 so n = 100 not (1/5)n = 100
(1/4) n = 100/4 = 25 ok
So (1/5)n=100
and (1/4)n=100/4 =25
====================================
(1/5) n = 20
multiply both sides by 5
1 n = 100 so n = 100 not (1/5)n = 100
(1/4) n = 100/4 = 25 ok
