Ian gets $9 for each hour he works and $10for each day he works. To find out how much he makes in a day, he made the equation y=9x+10x, where x is the number of hours he works. Explain why Ian's equation will not tell him how much he makes in a day.

Look at where the variables are placed and what they mean. Then look back at the question and look at the words. Try to see if you can find the error from there.
i need help :(
it will not tell him because it only gives him the answer of how many hours he works
No because
Ian gets nine dollars for each hour he works and $10 for each day he works to find out how much he makes and the day he made the equation y=9x+10x, where X is the number of hours he works explain why Ian’s Equation when I tell him how much he makes in a day
I'm only a STUDENT so I DON'T know if this is correct.
The equation says he will multiply 10 times x, but this is unnecessary since he ONLY earns $10 PER DAY. He does not need to multiply the number of hours he works by how much he makes PER DAY. He only needs to multiply 9x. Hope that makes sense lol
