I would like to learn more about having "undue confidence" by creating examples. I understand that this term is related to self-sufficient.

I think many sales people have "undue confidence;" it's almost necessary for their jobs. Even though they are often rejected, the make the next sales call with hope and confidence.

The recent debacle with Rush Limbaugh who called a supporter of birth control a prostitute, is an example of his undue confidence.
