I urgently need you to check these sentences I have to include in an e-mail.

As far as the project is concerned, I would like to know the opinion of your science teacher. I hope they will help me find the proper words.

1)Thank you for your email of today. I must compliment /congratulate you on your excellent Italian.
2) I'm really glad you both agreed to carry out a project concerning biodiversity (does the word exist) in rivers and other waterways in our own areas.
3) As a matter of fact, our school is already working on a similar project and has just received the funds to buy the necessary equipment (to analyze the water).
4) I therefore believe all our science teachers will be willing to partake in the project.
5) We will be discussing all the details in our next teachers' meeting (which will be held) next Monday. You can assure your French partner that we fully approve of your proposal.
