I actually really don't know the answer to this problem, but I guess the subject is you, the verb is for and is guess the verb phrase is near that city and past a mountain is a pot of gold. I really do not get how to answer this problem.

This sentence has four prepositional phrases. After you find them, the subject and verb should be easy.
