I posted this yesterday, that I need to modernize an Ancient Greek myth.
bobpursely replied with an idea that I could do the Siren sisters as cheerleaders, but I couldn't find a myth about them, they're in two different myths.
Like I've been thinking of myths such as Hercules's 12 labours or Pandora's box, but I can't figure out how to modernize elements such as the box itself and the 12 labours themselves.
We really can't help you with that because it's kind of something you have to think up for yourself. Pick a myth you know well, analyze it, and brainstorm (A LOT). The best thing to do would be to write down what the myth is about and analyze its important elements and think how those elements relate to real life. Myths often contain life lessons, lessons that are still useful today.
Like, i'm having trouble modernizing the main part of the myth.
Like how can I modernize something like King Midas's golden touch?
looking for help must find the subject, verb and adjective
The water main runs through the main street of town.
Alrite I have an idea that the modern Midas finds an illegal way to make money and that backfires when he loses everything by getting caught.
Can anyone give me some feedback and help me elaborate on this?
That sounds as if it'd work.
You could also make up a "Bill Gates" kind of guy -- and everything goes to pieces when the company loses lawsuit after lawsuit.
