i need to write an essay on why it is important to be obedient or to obey people or authority. i just don't have any ideas. help?

Suppose there were no authority. Suppose everyone did anything and everything they wanted. What would happen?

Would your neighbor steal your money or material goods? Would you punch out anyone who irritated you? Would students do their homework and learn? Would people evacuate a burning building in an orderly fashion?

I hope this gives you some ideas. I'm sure you can think of other reasons for people to obey authority.

Think about what would happen if you are not obedient. Or what would happen if no one obeyed any laws, etc.
