I need to write a funny story for class. Any ideas? I can't think :/

A funny story usually takes a fairly ordinary event and exaggerates it to make it humorous.

Think of the short stories, "The Night the Bed Fell" and "Ransom of Red Chief."

You may not to take a story from your early childhood and embellish it. For instance, when I was about 3 I thught I could fly like a June bug. Two skinned knees later showed me I was wrong. Then there was the time that my little brother, a city boy, went into our grandmother's chicken yard with her. To hide his fear, he looked up at her and said, "Hold my hand, Grandma, so I don't scare the chickens."
