I need to the steps to get (1-sinx)(1+sinx)=cos^2 x

1 answer

(1+sinx)=cos^2 x
1 + sinx = (1 - sin^2 x)
(1 + sinx) = (1+sinx)(1-sinx)
divide both sides by 1 + sinx
1 = 1 - sinx
or
sinx = 0
