I would also suggest a great amount of skepticism on "news accounts" of criminals which proport to give psychological background that is accurate. Usually, is is far from it.

I looked at this story, but I am worried that he would no be an adolescent. Since this person is 18 are they not an adult?

I am really having a hard time with this assignment. Writing the response is not hard, just find articels, since most juvenille information is not public.

It looks as though he was only 16 when he committed this murder.

According to this account, he was 17 when the trial began in May, 2008. Since the murder happened in Feb., 2007, that would make him 16 at the time.
