I need some help,
Find the surface area of the cone. Use 3.14 for π
This is a cone with a:
Radius 8in
Slant Height 7in
5 answers
Search Google: Surface area of Cone
I have @rose Marie,
It never works because they dont want to use 3.14 as pi

Actually, they do. Search google again: surface area of cone
See the formula that come up?
Area = π * radius(radius + √height^2 + radius^2 )
π is the symbol for pi which is 3.14
When you enter in the height and radius, google automatically calculates it for you and you should get 468.23

Thank you, i was trying to do that but apparently i was on the ( Find height ) Part of it, and it wont let me calculate it with a slant height of 7 and a radius of 8, sorry bout that. And thank you!
