I need help wording a sentence. I don't know what to put in the blank to make it a good sentence and make sure it doesn't change the sentence too much. What should I put there to make it a complete sentence?

I accidently put go there. It's supposed to be "to" not "go".
Maybe this?
"While Lieta was separated from her sister, she began to grow sickly thin and pale."
"While Lieta was separated from her sister, she began to grow sickly thin and pale."
