I need help with this problem,

(3-x)/-4 = (x+6)/3

Thanks! I've tried it myself several times and I keep getting stuck.

multiply both sides of the equation by -12

Yields

9-3x=-4x-24
add 4x to each side, subtract 9 from each side.

I don't really see how that works.
