i need help solving the following:

10h = 8h + 6

and

6x + 2 = 3x - 1

On the second, start by subtracting 3x from both sides, then subtract 2 from both sides.

combine the like terms, making 2h=6. then simplify and you get h=3.

once again, combine like terms, and you have 3x+2=-1. simplify. 3x=-3. simplify. x=-1
