Yes, the second one is a better example of globalization.
But on a non-economic note -- Jiskha provides an educational view of internet globalization. Not only do we have students and teachers from Canada and the U.S., but we also have students from Korea, Africa, Italy, and other countries. Some of our students are learning English as a second language. We're all learning from each other.
