I need a creative idea for a gift. My mom's birthday is coming up and she loves the beach, so I want to do something with sand so she can enjoy it wherever we are. I have the sand, but I need help fast because this craft has to be finished by Thursday!!

Well, one of the main things my Mom likes about the beach is the white sand, so I don't really want to color it. Thanks for the ideas though.
How about a miniature Zen garden? Although these sites are trying to sell these miniature gardens, I'm sure you can get several ideas for making your own.
