I know that there is such thing as inversion of stereochemistry,but is there such thing as inversion of stereocenter?

Are stereocenter and stereochemistry the same thing or mean the same thing?

I don't think so. Sterocenter refers to the "atom" that causes the molecule to be a stereoisomer while stereochemistry refers to the SUBJECT.
