{60x+10y=-16
-50x-100y=50

The solution to the system is:

2 answers

the first as is : 60x + 10y = -16
divide 2nd by 10: -5x - 10y = 5

add them
55x = -11
x = -11/55 = -1/5

plug back into -5x - 10y = 5
-5(-1/5) - 10y = 5
1 - 10y = 5
-10y = 4
y = -2/5
thanks so much!
