I just recently asked a question. and __answered AS SOON as I hit submit! How is that even possible? They don't have a name it just says "answered."

No, there is no bot on this site. The answer to your question is that the answer was likely provided by a human user who was very quick to respond to your question.

Oh! But how did a bot get on here? Did the developer put one on here or did it just 'happen' to get on here which I don't understand because I'm pretty sure there's reCAPTCHA on here because I had to do some.

The webpage has changed to some kind of AI robot, you can
tell by the answer appearing almost instantaneously, a human could not
do that. Most of the actual tutors have quit, some still appear to show up
to correct the bot, and give actual solutions.
The bot also just gives an answer, without any steps or justification.
I find this to be totally useless. You are correct, it looks like a majority of
math answers are incorrect.

Don't understand why there's even an AI bot if it doesn't give the write answers most of the time.

wow. Well ill just tell people not to use its answers since most of them are incorrect. Hope it doesn't count as criticism if I do. (It might*)
