(n+1)/d = 1/3
n/(d+1) = 1/4
If that's too hard to work through, then just consider that
5/15 = 1/3
4/16 = 1/4

If 1 is added to it's numerator, then it is equivalent to 1/3. And if 1 is added to it's denominator, then it is equivalent to 1/4
