I have worked this problem several times and get the same answer but it is not the right one, please help...

You are tiling a kitchen floor that is 10 ft wide by 4 yd long. How many square yards of tile do you need?
13.32 yd²-- this is my answer
13 yd²
20 yd²
40 yd²

You're right.

10 ft = 3.333 yards

A = LW

A = 3.333 * 4

A = 13.33 sq. yd.
