I have to do thirty problems in which I must find the subject, verb, direct object, indirect object, predicate nominative, and predicate adjective. In a nutshell, I am completely lost, can you help?

Try a couple or three sentences here (repost) and let us know what you think. Then we can see where you're OK and where you need more explanation.
