I have no idea what to do with this problem. Please help me found the basic formula.
When Apollo 15 astronaut David Scott dropped a hammer and a feather on the moon to demonstrate that in a vacuum all bodies fall with the same constant acceleration, he dropped them from about 4 feet above the ground. If acceleration due to gravity is -5.2 ft/sec^2 on the moon, how long did it take the items to hit the ground?
