I have been looking every where for a volunteer program description. I have read my book and look on the internet and still do not understand can someone show me how to find a sample volunteer program description that works with gardening or explain what should be included in a volunteer program description.

You will not find a custom made description online. You can find lots of others, those of established programs, and then you'll have to write your own -- or adapt one of those you find.
