square root of 3x=x-6..thanks i got an answer that doesnt work out os if u could jus help me out on these thx :)
I would square both sides first so you have
3x = x^2 - 12x + 36.
Then subtract 3 on both sides so you have
x^2 - 15x + 36 = 0.
Then factor that so you have
(x-12)(x-3)=0.
Therefore, either (x-12)=0 or (x-3)=0. x can either be 12 or 3. I checked this one - it's right!
