Area of an equilateral triangle is
l^2 Sqrt3/4
where l = length of a side.
convert figures to yards
11x11x11x1/6
area is then
11^2 x sqrt3/4 = 52.4 sq yards
volume = 52.4/6 = 8.73 cu yards
Please check my maths and remember to include the untis with your answer.

Another need way to find the area of any triangle is Heron's formula, you can memorize it easy enough, so you can find the area of any triangle knowing the sides.
